Help us support study abroad by donating to one of several American Councils initiatives for Study Abroad. These funds and fellowships support American Councils’ mission to foster excellence in international education and provide vitally important opportunities for the next generation of global leaders. 

Alumni Events

Throughout the year, we plan regional and local (Washington, DC) events, including networking sessions, film screenings, silent auctions, roundtable and panel discussions, and awards galas. Volunteer

Looking for a volunteer opportunity in the D.C. area? Each year, our secondary schools programs need help evaluating applications from high school students for the FLEX, YES, and NSLI-Y programs. This is a great way to learn more about different cultures and countries while supporting international education and cultural exchange. Learn more
